观赏园艺专业，博士，林学与风景园林学院园林花卉系副教授。1997年毕业于华中农业大学园艺系，获学士学位； 2002年毕业于华中农业大学资源与环境学院，获硕士学位；2006年毕业于华南农业大学园艺学院，获博士学位，2006年10月-2008年7月在美国佛罗里达大学读博士后；2008年7月分配到华南农业大学园艺学院花卉与景观系；2013年12月-2015年1月在美国杜克大学做访问学者。2015年1月因校内学科调整转到林学与风景园林学院园林花卉系。
主讲课程：花卉育种学、花卉生理、花卉生物技术。
主持项目：主持国家自然科学基金2项、教育部留学回国基金1项。参加多项国家级、省部级项目。
研究领域：园林植物生理、育种与生物技术
